My Story
Camilli Seawright is a passionate advocate for neurodiversity and inclusive education. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Education with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, working as a behavioral therapist. Her clinical background in psychology allows her to compassionately guide children particularly those with autism through the processes of emotional regulation, routine establishment, and social skill acquisition using the best evidence based techniques.
Combining her professional experience and love for storytelling, Camilli sought to help learners build confidence by creating Marcellus and Marcella, which she intended for younger audiences. The two puppy siblings in her book embody the enthusiasm and structure that she applies to her therapy work.
Camilli’s design work with parents and educators, along with parent coaching, brings her the utmost joy. She resides in Texas with her pugs who served as the inspirations for her books’ characters.
